CERT is also still operating a call center at the County Emergency Management Agency office. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone living in Van Wert County that is quarantined, concerned about leaving their home, or elderly persons that should not be out during the COVID-19 event can call 419.623.1095 or 419.623.4177 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday through Friday to request assistance. CERT operators will speak\u00a0to callers about their needs and coordinate with CERT delivery drivers on how to get necessary items to callers.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CERT also provides traffic control for United Way and Van Wert County schools for their food distributions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Anyone wanting to donate to CERT to help with its response to COVID-19 can send checks to the Van Wert County Foundation at the above address and enter “COVID” in the memo line.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
