{"id":130728,"date":"2020-04-26T22:30:08","date_gmt":"2020-04-27T03:30:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=130728"},"modified":"2020-04-26T22:30:10","modified_gmt":"2020-04-27T03:30:10","slug":"nosf-scholarship-deadline-extended","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2020\/04\/26\/nosf-scholarship-deadline-extended\/","title":{"rendered":"NOSF scholarship deadline extended"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>VW independent\/submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SYLVANIA &#8212; The Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund (NOSF) has extended its lottery application deadline to Friday, Mary 29, for the 2020-2021 school year for need-based scholarships up to $2,000 for private schools and $750 for homeschool expenses.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"161\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/04\/NOSF-logo-4-2020.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-130729\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>NOSF is currently accepting applications for the 2020-2021 school year&nbsp;for grades kindergarten through eighth grade for children to use at a non-public school or for home school expenses.&nbsp;Families need to reside in&nbsp;Allen, Crawford, Defiance, Erie, Fulton, Hancock, Henry, Huron, Lucas, Ottawa, Paulding, Putnam, Richland, Sandusky, Seneca, Van Wert, Williams, Wood, or Wyandot counties.&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>NOSF&nbsp;is a partner with the Children\u2019s Scholarship Fund (CSF) and awards need-based scholarships to provide parents with a choice for their child\u2019s education.&nbsp;Since 1999, the Northwest Ohio Scholarship Fund has awarded a total of $13.8 million in scholarships to 16,000 students, part of that includes $4.6 million in matching funds from CSF.
