{"id":133728,"date":"2020-08-05T15:46:29","date_gmt":"2020-08-05T20:46:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=133728"},"modified":"2020-08-05T15:46:30","modified_gmt":"2020-08-05T20:46:30","slug":"bryan-man-hurt-in-2-vehicle-area-accident","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2020\/08\/05\/bryan-man-hurt-in-2-vehicle-area-accident\/","title":{"rendered":"Bryan man hurt in 2-vehicle area accident"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>VW independent\/submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>LATTY TOWNSHIP &#8212; One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon on Ohio 114 in Paulding County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"121\" height=\"160\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/osplogo.gif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2340\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>According to troopers from the Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, a 2010 Chevrolet Impala driven east on Ohio 114 by Citali Montiel, 39, of Van Wert, at approximately 1:03 p.m. Wednesday failed to yield the way at the intersection with Ohio 49 and hit a northbound 2018 Dodge Ram pickup truck operated by Michael Leffel, 63, of Bryan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Following the impact, Leffel\u2019s pickup continued off the right side of the highway and overturned. Leffel was injured in the accident and was transported to Paulding County Hospital by a Payne EMS squad unit. Neither Montiel, nor two passengers in the Montiel car, Celene Vital, 29, of Haviland, and a juvenile, claimed injury.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Patrol was assisted by Paulding County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Payne Fire Department, Payne EMS, Gideon\u2019s Towing Service, and R&amp;O Towing Service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The accident remains under investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VW independent\/submitted information LATTY TOWNSHIP &#8212; One person was injured in a two-vehicle crash that occurred Wednesday afternoon on Ohio 114 in Paulding County.
