FORT WAYNE, Indiana — Science Central is offering funds for free Science<\/a>4<\/sub><\/a>U outreach<\/a> including Science2Go Kits and Interactive Video Conferencing in addition to onsite Study Trip<\/a> programs thanks to generous support from Avangrid Renewables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Programming is available to students in kindergarten through 12th grade and schools located in Van Wert and Paulding County. Science Central programming provides a safe way to learn STEM topics during the pandemic. Teachers providing in-person and at home learning are able to book programming on our website at ScienceCentral.org<\/a>. All programs are provided on a first-come, first-served basis and will be available until funds are exhausted. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

As of this fall, Science Central programs will include 5 new renewable energy labs. During the renewable energy labs, students will be able to experiment with geothermal, hydroelectric, solar, biofuel, and wind power. Additionally, new urinalysis and kidney dissection labs will be available. During the urinalysis lab, students will learn about the urinary tract system, including the structure and purpose of the kidneys. These new programs are designed for students in grades 6-12.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
