Those projects are as follow:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large is-resized\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/06\/ODOT-logo-6-2017.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-89572\" width=\"200\" height=\"113\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>U.S. 30<\/strong>\u00a0at U.S. 224, both eastbound and westbound, Van Wert, will be restricted to one lane through the work zone for a project that will reconstruct and lower the pavement beneath the U.S. 224 overhead to increase vertical clearance. The project also includes drainage work, and replacement of barrier wall and guardrail. The project is expected to be completed in late October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>South 30 westbound entrance ramp from U.S. 224 will close\u00a0September<strong> <\/strong>14 for approximately 30 days.<\/li><li><strong>Detour<\/strong>: U.S. 30 eastbound to U.S. 127 back to U.S. 30 westbound (<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/lnks.gd\/l\/eyJhbGciOiJIUzI1NiJ9.eyJidWxsZXRpbl9saW5rX2lkIjoxMDEsInVyaSI6ImJwMjpjbGljayIsImJ1bGxldGluX2lkIjoiMjAyMDA5MTAuMjY5MDMxMTEiLCJ1cmwiOiJodHRwOi8vd3d3LmRvdC5zdGF0ZS5vaC51cy9kaXN0cmljdHMvRDAxL2RldG91cnMvRG9jdW1lbnRzL1ZBTi0zMC1XQiUyMEVudHJhbmNlJTIwUmFtcCUyMGZyb20lMjBFQiUyMFVTMjI0LnBkZj91dG1fbWVkaXVtPWVtYWlsJnV0bV9zb3VyY2U9Z292ZGVsaXZlcnkifQ.uwjndJyxCF0ra8seaje9Wlm8xw3uKjLdwYdKNYfhcts\/s\/718873375\/br\/83554621981-l\" target=\"_blank\">see map<\/a>).<\/li><li>South 30 traffic will be maintained in one lane in each direction.<\/li><li>Liberty Union Road from U.S. 30 to Terry Road closed August 10 for approximately three months.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>A Multi Route<\/strong>\u00a0paving project began work August 10. The project includes resurfacing of the existing pavement, pavement repairs, work on curb ramps, and widening of bridge approaches on U.S. 224. Lane restrictions will be in place with traffic being maintained by flaggers. Work is expected to be finished by early October.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>U.S. 224\u00a0<\/strong>from the Indiana state line to the city of Van Wert.<\/li><li><strong>U.S. 127<\/strong>\u00a0from the CSX Railroad line north of Main Street to the intersection of U.S. 127, U.S. 224, and Marsh Road.<\/li><li><strong>Ohio 118<\/strong>\u00a0in Van Wert the bridge over Town Creek to U.S. 127\/Washington Street.<\/li><li><strong>Ohio 709<\/strong>\u00a0from Ohio 118 to Township Road 58.<\/li><\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VW independent\/submitted information LIMA &#8212; The Ohio Department of Transportation\u2019s District 1 has listed highway projects that will likely affect traffic in Van Wert County this week.
