Ten teachers were randomly selected to receive a $100 gift card to purchase supplies and materials for their classrooms.  Above is second grade teacher Jeri Lipp receiving her $100 gift card from the assistant store manager of the Van Wert WalMart.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The 2010-2011 junior high yearbooks have been delivered and we hope that you enjoy\u00a0looking at the memories from the past year.\u00a0 We have taken our first order for the 2011-2012\u00a0yearbook.\u00a0 The cost is $16.50.\u00a0 Checks are to be made payable to Lincolnview\u00a0Schools.\u00a0 We also accept cash in the EXACT amount of $16.50.\u00a0 This can be given to Mrs.\u00a0Sheets or Mrs. Dowdy.\u00a0 The next order will be taken in February.\u00a0 You must pre-order a book.\u00a0We do not order extras.\u00a0 Photos can be submitted of any Lincolnview event to be considered\u00a0for use in the yearbook by saving them to a disk and giving them to Mrs. Dowdy.\u00a0 We will also\u00a0accept candid photos of junior high students from activities they are involved in, such as 4-H,\u00a0or just pictures of fun times together.<\/p>\n<p>Mrs. Dowdy&#8217;s junior high math classes have lined the perimeter of her room one time with items that will be donated to the United Way Food Drive and are working on their second\u00a0time around her room.\u00a0 Students have brought in the a total of 408 items and have until\u00a0Thursday afternoon to add to this amount.\u00a0 The food drive is a part of the United Way&#8217;s Day\u00a0of Caring which is Friday, September 23.<\/p>\n<img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-13987 \" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/09\/9-21-11-lancer-lines-jh-boys.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"350\" height=\"221\" \/>\n<p>We would like to congratulate the Lincolnview Jr. High Boys Cross Country Program on having a very successful season so far.
