{"id":139863,"date":"2021-02-04T08:37:59","date_gmt":"2021-02-04T13:37:59","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=139863"},"modified":"2021-02-04T08:38:04","modified_gmt":"2021-02-04T13:38:04","slug":"vwhs-plans-parent-teacher-conferences-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2021\/02\/04\/vwhs-plans-parent-teacher-conferences-5\/","title":{"rendered":"VWHS plans parent-teacher conferences"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>VW independent\/submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Van Wert High School Principal Bob Priest announced that parent-teacher conferences for the second semester will be held in high school classrooms on Monday, February 15, from 4:30-7:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a result of COVID-19, there will be three different possibilities offered for conferences:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Phone conferences can be arranged<\/li><li>Zoom sessions can be scheduled<\/li><li>In-person conferences can be held in a teacher\u2019s classroom, which allows for social distancing.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Each teacher\u2019s email address is on the school website at&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.vwcs.net\/\">www.vwcs.net<\/a>. Parents should email teachers to set up a scheduled phone or Zoom conference.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Parent-teacher conferences allow parents to discuss their students\u2019 progress in school with the students\u2019 teachers.
