{"id":147845,"date":"2021-11-02T03:44:22","date_gmt":"2021-11-02T08:44:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=147845"},"modified":"2021-11-02T03:47:26","modified_gmt":"2021-11-02T08:47:26","slug":"lview-honoring-vets-with-gift-card-dinner","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2021\/11\/02\/lview-honoring-vets-with-gift-card-dinner\/","title":{"rendered":"L&#8217;view honoring vets with gift card dinner"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>VW independent\/submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Due to concerns about COVID-19, Lincolnview Local schools will not hold an in-person Veterans Day Program this year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In place of the annual program, a gift card dinner is planned in conjunction with Rager\u2019s Original Sausage Sandwich to show our appreciation of local veterans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOur amazing community has once again stepped up to help sponsor this dinner for our veterans,\u201d Lincolnview Veteran\u2019s Day Coordinator Stephanie Renner said. \u201cI am extremely grateful for the support from many local businesses and organizations to help make this happen.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Veterans will receive two gift cards for meals at Rager\u2019s Original Sausage Sandwich on South Washington Street in Van Wert.
