{"id":148055,"date":"2021-11-07T08:34:48","date_gmt":"2021-11-07T13:34:48","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=148055"},"modified":"2021-11-07T08:36:00","modified_gmt":"2021-11-07T13:36:00","slug":"early-morning-crash-injures-willshire-man","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2021\/11\/07\/early-morning-crash-injures-willshire-man\/","title":{"rendered":"Early morning crash injures Willshire man"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Van Wert independent news<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WILLSHIRE TOWNSHIP &#8212; Alcohol is believed to be a factor in an early Sunday morning crash that sent a Van Wert County man to the hospital with serious injuries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"100\" height=\"132\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/06\/OHSP-logo-6-20.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-131921\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A report from the Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol said the crash occurred at 12:49 a.m. on State Route 49, near Piqua Road, in Willshire Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Justin Taylor, 38, of Willshire, was northbound in a 2001 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck when he went off the right side of the roadway and struck a culvert. Troopers said he was ejected from the truck and was taken by Life Flight to Parkview Hospital in Fort Wayne.
