{"id":148657,"date":"2021-11-29T04:47:22","date_gmt":"2021-11-29T09:47:22","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=148657"},"modified":"2021-11-29T04:47:24","modified_gmt":"2021-11-29T09:47:24","slug":"allen-county-crash-kills-two-injures-one","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2021\/11\/29\/allen-county-crash-kills-two-injures-one\/","title":{"rendered":"Allen County crash kills two, injures one"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Van Wert independent news<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>AMANDA TOWNSHIP &#8212; Two people were killed in an early Sunday morning head-on crash near Spencerville.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/02\/fatal-car-crash-artwork-2-2012.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20210\"\/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>According to the Lima Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol, it happened at approximately 6:45 a.m. Sunday on State Route 117 near Mills Road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Madyson Snyder, 17, of Spencerville, was eastbound when her 1991 Chevrolet Corsica went left of center, causing a collision with a westbound 2021 Honda CRV driven by Bridget Hendricks, 25, of Decatur, Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Snyder and Hendricks were pronounced dead at the scene by the Allen County Coroner\u2019s Office. A passenger in Snyder\u2019s car, Nathaniel Meade, 18, suffered life-threatening injuries and was transported to Mercy Health St. Rita\u2019s, Lima by Spencerville EMS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The crash remains under investigation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Van Wert independent news AMANDA TOWNSHIP &#8212; Two people were killed in an early Sunday morning head-on crash near Spencerville.
