The time will be spent removing honeysuckle (an invasive species in Hiestand Woods) from the preserve portion of the park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It\u2019s an excellent opportunity for community service hours, as well as investing in the improvement of the only wooded park in Van Wert city limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Van Wert County Foundation asks that volunteers be 16 years of age or older and that they sign a waiver for working on the removal process.
