6:12 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a location in Ridge Township for a motor vehicle crash involving one car. No Injuries were reported. Driver was cited for failure to control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7:31 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to the Village of Willshire to check a suspicious vehicle parked in the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8:54 a.m. \u2013 Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a location in the City of Van Wert for a subject that fell inside a residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2:35 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a location in Ridge Township to take a complaint on harassment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2:36 p.m.. \u2013 Dog Warden responded to a residence in Jackson Township in reference to a stray dog on his property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3:00 p.m. \u2013 Deputies and Ohio City Fire responded to a location in Liberty Township for a motor vehicle crash involving a car and semi-truck. The driver of the semi-truck was not injured. The driver of the passenger vehicle was transported to Van Wert Health by Ohio City EMS. The driver of the passenger vehicle was issued a citation for failure to yield the right of way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12:38 a.m. \u2013 Deputies conducted a traffic stop in Washington Township. The driver, Oscar Hernandez was arrested for driving under the influence and operating a motor vehicle without a valid license. He was transported to Van Wert County Corrections pending court.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n

1:51 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a location in Ridge Township to investigate a burglar alarm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11:05 a.m. \u2013 Dog Warden responded to a location in the City of Van Wert for a loose dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12:00 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a location in the Village of Middle Point to assist a subject locked out of their vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
