{"id":155034,"date":"2022-06-13T03:40:49","date_gmt":"2022-06-13T08:40:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=155034"},"modified":"2022-06-13T03:55:01","modified_gmt":"2022-06-13T08:55:01","slug":"lview-board-to-vote-on-building-resolution","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2022\/06\/13\/lview-board-to-vote-on-building-resolution\/","title":{"rendered":"L&#8217;view board to vote on building project"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>VW independent news<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It appears the Lincolnview school board is ready to proceed with plans to add on to the existing elementary building.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The board has scheduled a special meeting for 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 14, to vote on a resolution for a classroom wing addition, kindergarten renovation, elementary entrance\/elementary administrative office renovation, elementary library wing addition, cafeteria renovation and related improvements at a cost not to exceed $5,050,000.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The resolution, if approved, notes the board will not borrow money for the project and will use available funds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Board members agreed to move forward with the project in February of 2020, but it was put on hold due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The new resolution will supercede the original one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The board is also expected to a contract with Dinsmore &amp; Shohl LLP to provide construction counsel services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tuesday\u2019s special meeting will be held in the Neubrecht Lecture Hall.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VW independent news It appears the Lincolnview school board is ready to proceed with plans to add on to the existing elementary building.
