TIFFIN — The Lincolnview Lancer cross country teams competed in the Division III regional meet this past weekend.\u00a0 The boys\u2019 team ran in the Tiffin meet and placed 13th as a team.<\/p>\n
The Lancer boys were led by Jeff Jacomet, who placed 56th.\u00a0 He was followed by Ben Bilimek (59th), Alex Rodriguez (72nd), Austin Treesh (83rd), and Lucas Myer (90th).<\/p>\n
\u201cThe boys ran well today,\u201d said Lincolnview Coach Matt Langdon. \u201cThis was a new experience for all seven of the boys, and, overall, they responded.<\/p>\n
\u201cNow that they have this experience to draw from, we can use it to springboard into the track season and next summer for cross country,\u201d he added. \u201cThey have had an amazing season and I am very proud of how far they have come this season.\u201d<\/p>\n
Kerri Grothaus competed for the girls at the Troy regional meet and placed 63rd, running a 21:47.<\/p>\n
