Prices in Ohio are two cents per gallon lower than a month ago and 6.7 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has risen 3.3 cents in the last week and stands at $4.333 per gallon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\"><figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"350\" height=\"303\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/08\/Gas-prices-8-28-2023.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-169552\"\/><figcaption>Gas prices in Van Wert were below the state average Monday night. <em>Scott Truxell\/Van Wert independent<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>According to GasBuddy price reports, the cheapest station in Ohio was priced at $2.87 per gallon on Monday, while the most expensive was $4.23 a gallon, a difference of $1.36 per gallon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In Van Wert, pump prices for self-serve regular ranged from $3.39 to $3.46 per gallon Monday night.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The national average price of gasoline has fallen four cents per gallon in the last week, to an average $3.78 per gallon.
