The board will meet behind closed doors at 6 p.m. that night in the district conference room.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe have a great group of candidates and have narrowed it down to two that we have asked back for a second visit,\u201d Board President Pat Baumle said via email. \u201cWe&#8217;ll be meeting with them Thursday after which we hope to arrive at an individual we can offer the position. Both candidates have a great deal of financial experience and bring unique qualities that we are looking forward to exploring further.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Six people initially applied for the job and four of them were interviewed last week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The person chosen for the job will replace current Treasurer Laura Peters, who\u2019s leaving at the end of the year for the same job with the Delphos City Schools.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VW independent staff The ongoing search for a new treasurer will continue this Thursday, October 12, when the Vantage Career Center Board of Education meets in special session.
