4:35 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of Ohio 66 in Washington Township for a motor vehicle crash involving a deer. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6:40 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of U.S. 30 in Washington Township for a motor vehicle crash involving a deer. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7:58 a.m. \u2013 Dispatched Middle Point Fire to a silo fire in Allen County, Ohio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9:23 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded with Convoy Fire to a report of a car fire on Ohio 49 in Harrison Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10:08 a.m. \u2013 Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a residence on Peter Collins Road in Pleasant Township for a subject having difficulty breathing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10:13 a.m. \u2013 Dispatched Ohio City EMS to an area of U.S. 127 in Liberty Township for a subject that was walking and not feeling well.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12:00 p.m. \u2013 Deputies assisted with a funeral escort from the City of Van Wert to Ridge Cemetery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2:45 p.m. \u2013 Deputies assisted with a funeral escort from the City of Van Wert to Wright Cemetery in Jennings Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6:43 p.m. \u2013 Deputies served a warrant issued by an Allen County, Indiana Court for illegal conveyance of drugs. Mauro DeJesus-Lopez, 41, of Van Wert is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility pending extradition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7:00 p.m. \u2013 Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a residence on Lincoln Highway in Pleasant Township for a subject with high blood pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7:34 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a residence on Convoy Road in Tully Township for a motor vehicle crash involving a deer. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7:54 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of Gamble Road in Ridge Township on a complaint of reckless driving. The vehicle involved was later located on U.S. 127. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on the
vehicle for a speed violation. The operator was issued a citation for a speed of 89 in a 55.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8:00 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a location on Fox Road in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8:07 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of Carpenter Road in Washington Township on a report of suspicious activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10:05 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of the Community Building in the Village of Middle Point on a complaint of suspicious activity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
