Washington St., reported at 4:08 p.m. Tuesday that someone tried to pay for items at the convenience store using a counterfeit $100 bill.<\/p>\n<p>At 5:25 p.m. that day, an employee of Tyler\u2019s Short Stop, 714 E. Main St., reported receiving a counterfeit $100 bill at that store.<\/p>\n<p>Local businesses should be wary of anyone trying to use $100 bills to pay for items and should inspect the bills carefully.
