Van Wert County has approximately 20,000 registered voters.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s hard to compare numbers from the last presidential primary,\u201d Henderson said. \u201cThat was when COVID had hit on election day canceling election day voting and postponing the election to be a vote by mail. Republican voters must choose between incumbent Van Wert County Commissioner Todd Wolfrum and challenger Lucas Myers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ballots may be cast at the Van Wert County Board of Elections Office, 1362 E. Ervin Rd. on the following dates and times:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>8 a.m. to 5 p.m. today (March 8)<\/li><li>8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 9<\/li><li>7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 11<\/li><li>7:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. March 12<\/li><li>7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. March 13-15<\/li><li>8 a.m. to 4 p.m. March 16<\/li><li>1-5 p.m. March 17<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The polls will be open from 6:30 a.m. until 7:30 p.m. on Election Day, March 19.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Those casting ballots in-person will notice new voting equipment and Henderson said voters have been very receptive to the new equipment during the early voting period. She also said voters will notice similar changes on Election Day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith using epollbooks, there will be a \u2018Any Line, Any Time\u2019 concept,\u201d she said. \u201cThe voters won&#8217;t have to look for their precinct. They can choose any epollbook to be checked in and receive a ballot, then they will place their ballot in the ExpressVote kiosks (touchscreen) to vote.
