{"id":17941,"date":"2011-12-21T02:57:05","date_gmt":"2011-12-21T07:57:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=17941"},"modified":"2011-12-21T02:57:05","modified_gmt":"2011-12-21T07:57:05","slug":"mulligans-pub-bistro-has-new-manager","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2011\/12\/21\/mulligans-pub-bistro-has-new-manager\/","title":{"rendered":"Mulligan&#8217;s Pub &amp; Bistro has new manager"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Mulligan\u2019s Pub and Bistro, located at Hickory Sticks Golf Club on U.S. 127 on the south edge of Van Wert, would like to announce the hiring of a new manager, Kindra Butler.\u00a0 Butler comes to Mulligan\u2019s Pub and Bistro with over 10 years of restaurant experience, not only in management but ownership and entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_17942\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-17942\" style=\"width: 200px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-17942 \" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Kindra-Butler.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"200\" height=\"313\" \/><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-17942\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Kindra Butler<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Butler\u2019s responsibilities will include restaurant management, food services, catering and event planning.\u00a0 Butler hopes to take event planning to a new level for Van Wert: corporate events, wine tastings, VIP parties, and other events, including \u201cLadies\u2019 Night Out\u201d, family nights, golf course incorporated and other live entertainment and outdoor patio events.<\/p>\n<p>Although Butler\u2019s official start date is January 1, 2012, the Pub and Bistro will be closed from December 30, through April 1, 2012. During the shutdown period, Butler will still be available for catering and facility rentals and event planning, but other functions and a grand re-opening will take place after April 1.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur goal within this shut-down period is to allow Kindra the opportunity to revamp the menu, carry-out staff meetings and trainings and prepare for next year\u2019s events and extended hours, including Sunday Brunches,\u201d stated Mark White, co-owner of Mulligan\u2019s Pub and Bistro.\u00a0 \u201cWe are really excited to have Kindra on board and feel strongly that she will take our vision for the Pub even further, making it a destination of choice within the area,\u201d White added.<\/p>\n<p>Butler\u2019s family includes husband Jerry, two stepchildren and two stepgrandchildren. She is an active member of the Vann Wert Rotary Club and enjoys golfing, cooking and playing piano.
