(Photo submitted.)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>With the days getting shorter and the temperature creeping ever so close to that beloved 32 degrees, students are looking at the sky. With a winter season still delay and cancelation free, students continue to work hard in school. As everyone counts down the days until Christmas it is apparent that the focus is still in school and on completing tasks before the book bags go home for a period of much needed days off.<\/p>\n<p>A vast number of juniors have at least one ACT under their belt and are awaiting their scores back. \u00a0Juniors and selected sophomores who took the PSAT got their scores back doing very well on the nation wide test.<\/p>\n<p>The Crestview Knight boys and girls basketball are in full swing. The boys varsity team is 4-0 with the JV teams is 3-1. Girls varsity basketball team is 4-1 with the JV teams is 3-2.<\/p>\n<p>The Crestview FFCLA performed a Christmas Shop for Mrs. Wells\u2019 elementary students. The members of the FCCLA decked Mrs. Sutton\u2019s room with boughs of holly and other festive decorations. They then went out to Wal-Mart and picked out gifts that the kids wanted and gifts that they could give to their parents. They laid the gifts out in the room and set it up in a \u2018store\u2019 like atmosphere. The kids were able to pick out their parents\u2019 gifts and wrap them up to give. They ended the day with a meal made from scratch and opened presents.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe take everything for granted, especially during the holiday season. We are so blessed. It warms hearts when we help those in need,\u201d said FCCLA President Elaina Winhover.<\/p>\n<p>Rounding out the three day week with Chicago-area band <em>Gain of 10<\/em> on December 21<sup> <\/sup>, the holiday season is bound to start out merry and bright.<\/p>\n<p>Crestview students and teachers are very eager to put pencils down and partake in festive gatherings. The students and staff of Crestview would like to wish all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy Holidays.
