{"id":18208,"date":"2011-12-27T01:48:20","date_gmt":"2011-12-27T06:48:20","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=18208"},"modified":"2011-12-27T01:48:20","modified_gmt":"2011-12-27T06:48:20","slug":"agenda-listed-for-city-council-meetings","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2011\/12\/27\/agenda-listed-for-city-council-meetings\/","title":{"rendered":"Agenda listed for City Council meetings"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Van Wert independent\/<\/strong><em>City Council information<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Another item has been added to the agenda for Van Wert City Council\u2019s Judiciary &amp; Annexation Committee.<\/p>\n<p>According to Council President Gary Corcoran, Mayor Louis Ehmer received a request from\u00a0an applicant\u00a0asking the city to approve transfer of a liquor license from Allen County to Van Wert County.<\/p>\n<p>The license is being transferred to allow\u00a0the sale of liquor\u00a0on Sunday, and is being transferred for use specifically by Fricker\u2019s.<\/p>\n<p>The mayor\u00a0asked for the request to be added to the agenda for the Judiciary &amp; Annexation Committee meeting scheduled for this Wednesday, December 28.<\/p>\n<p>During the meeting Mayor Ehmer will present information from the attorney representing the applicant to the committee.<\/p>\n<p>Also on Wednesday, the Judiciary &amp; Annexation Committee, which will meet at 7 p.m., will discuss the city\u2019s Revolving Loan Fund administration agreement and electric aggregation, while the Finance Committee will meet at 6:30 that evening to review year-end supplemental appropriations, transfers and health insurance.<\/p>\n<p>City Council will also meet Wednesday, beginning at 7:30 p.m., to approve any year-end supplemental appropriations and transfers, as well as finalize legislation setting new water and sewer rates for the coming year.<\/p>\n<p>The meetings will also be held in Council Chambers, located on the second floor of the Municipal Building, 515 E.
