The state-of-the-art facility, which will be located in the Vision Industrial Park, will focus on extrusion, thermoforming, and the production of paper cups for dairy products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are thrilled to welcome Intrapl\u00e1s to our community,\u201d said Brent Stevens, Executive Director of the Van Wert Area Economic Development. \u201cThis investment underscores the strength of our region\u2019s workforce, infrastructure, and business climate. Intrapl\u00e1s\u2019 commitment to sustainability and innovation aligns perfectly with our community\u2019s values.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"550\" height=\"412\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2024\/12\/Intraplas-2024.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-187511\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Intraplas will locate its first U.S. manufacuturing facility at Vision Industrial Park. <em>Photo submitted<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Van Wert location offers the ideal combination of a skilled workforce, strategic location, and a supportive business environment,\u201d Intraplas CEO Duarte Faria said. \u201cWe are confident that this investment will drive growth and create long-term value for our company and the community.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The decision to locate in Van Wert was solidified during a visit to the community in February of this year. The Intrapl\u00e1s executive team was impressed by the local workforce, infrastructure, and the warm welcome they received from community leaders. The company was particularly drawn to the 100,000-square-foot spec building developed by Robison Investments, which offered the ideal space for their operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Ohio Department of Development\u2019s Tax Credit Authority approved a 1.220 percent, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit for the project.
