The renovation will allow the hospital to grow its essential services and enhance patient care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The project will relocate and expand the hospital\u2019s pharmacy to 2,500 square feet, nearly double the size of the hospital\u2019s current pharmacy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThis investment is the latest example of how we are committed to providing high-level care, close to home for our patients,\u201d said Paula Stabler, Van Wert Hospital\u2019s chief nursing officer. \u201cWe are excited to be able to have the opportunity to expand the services we offer.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The expansion will also include the addition of a clean room \u2013 a space where sterile intravenous compounding occurs. The hospital\u2019s current pharmacy includes a clean room for non-hazardous medication.
