{"id":189958,"date":"2025-02-23T22:08:32","date_gmt":"2025-02-24T03:08:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=189958"},"modified":"2025-02-23T22:08:34","modified_gmt":"2025-02-24T03:08:34","slug":"interstate-75-focus-of-enforcement-effort","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2025\/02\/23\/interstate-75-focus-of-enforcement-effort\/","title":{"rendered":"Interstate 75 focus of enforcement effort"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>VW independent staff<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>COLUMBUS\u00a0&#8212; Earlier this month, the Ohio State Highway Patrol and some members of the 6-State Trooper Project joined together to focus on speed, safety belt and OVI enforcement on Interstate 75.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>During the most recent 6-State initiative, the Patrol cited 482 drivers for speed-related violations and 63 for safety belt infractions, and also charged 11 with OVI.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The three-day initiative began February 14 and continued through Sunday, February 16. The campaign included the Kentucky State Police and Michigan State Police.
