{"id":19028,"date":"2012-01-12T05:42:30","date_gmt":"2012-01-12T10:42:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=19028"},"modified":"2012-01-12T05:42:30","modified_gmt":"2012-01-12T10:42:30","slug":"steer-weigh-ins-this-week-at-fairgrounds","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2012\/01\/12\/steer-weigh-ins-this-week-at-fairgrounds\/","title":{"rendered":"Steer weigh-ins this week at fairgrounds"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The Van Wert County Junior Fair Board reminds all steer exhibitors for the 2012 Van Wert County Junior Fair that steer weigh-in is this Saturday, January 14, from 8-10 a.m. Weigh-in will take place on the fairgrounds by the beef barn.<\/p>\n<p>Show steers, dairy steers and performance steers possession is January 1, and exhibitors may weigh up to five steers from each class.<\/p>\n<p>Steer exhibitors wanting to take a steer to the Ohio State Fair in 2012 must submit a legible nose print to the Ohio State Fair Livestock Office.
