On Thursday,\u00a0April 10, the Van Wert County Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) was dispatched to assist the\u00a0Van Wert\u00a0Fire Department for a house fire. CERT is working to raise support for the families. After meeting with the family it is determined that clothing, and monetary donations are needed.

Please include Case No. 9078 with your donation so CERT can ensure it is are distributed to the correct family:
\u00a0
Adult female: medium\/large leggings, medium shirts, size 9 shoes, medium\/large coats.
Adult male: 32×30 pants, large shirts, (no shoes needed), large coats.
Youth female: X-small pants (no jeans), X-small\/small shirts, youth size.12\/13 shoes, medium coats.
Youth male: 2T pants, 2T shirts, youth size 7 shoes.
Infant: 6\/9 month clothes, baby bottles and breast pump

Donations for the fire victims should be taken to the following locations based on the contents:

Larger appliances and furniture:

Business hours: Monday-Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Some appliances may not be needed, in the event that CERT cannot accept your donation, you may be asked to return to pick up your items as storage space is low.

Monetary donations can be dropped off or sent to Van Wert County Foundation\/CERT located at 138 E. Main St., Van Wert. Please include\u00a0 Case No. 9078\u00a0in the memo.\u00a0

Donations can also be made online at\u00a0vanwertcountyfoundation.org<\/a>\u00a0by clicking \u2018Donate\u2019 and selecting the \u2018Van Wert EMA\/CERT Fund’\u00a0and include Case No. 9078\u00a0in the donation note.
