The Van Wert County Foundations does this in part by bringing in speakers who are experts in their industry on various topics that impact non-profit organizations. The speakers provide engaging seminars that allow attendees to \u201cdig deep\u201d and identify ways to elevate their organizational structure and operations. In addition, those who sign up are exposed to other local non-profits, which creates a catalyst for encouraging stronger collaboration among organizations.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"300\" height=\"85\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/04\/ElevatePROOF2-copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-192140\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>As part of the program, the Van Wert County Foundation partners with the Ohio Association of Non-Profit Organizations (OANO) to present four in-person workshops on the following topics: Leadership Development, Grant Writing &amp; Financial Resources, Legislative Advocacy &amp; Policy, Legal Issues &amp; Compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sessions will be held monthly on the third Thursday from June-September at Willow Bend Country Club.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Dates: June 19, July 17, August 21, and September 18<sup>th<\/sup><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Times: 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Location: Willow Bend Country Club, Van Wert<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Program cost: $100\/per organization<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>15 non-profit organizations will be accepted into the ELEVATE program with the option for two attendees per organization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Requirements for participation are:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Be a 501c3 non-profit organization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Have a presence in Van Wert County<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Be governed by a board of directors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>To secure a spot, email VWCF Grant &amp; Programs Coordinator Laney Nofer, at <a href=\"mailto:laney@vanwertcountyfoundation.org\">laney@vanwertcountyfoundation.org<\/a>, Attn: ELEVATE program. Organizations are accepted on a first-come, first-serve basis.
