Van Wert girls scored 102 points to Ayersville\u2019s 59 and the boys scored 102 points to Ayersville\u2019s 58.<\/p>\n<p>Van Wert swimmers placing first in individual events included: Taylor Grooms (200-yard freestyle and 100-yard backstroke), Eric Easley (100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke), Erin Dingle and Matt Cucciarre (200-yard individual medley), Brittany Jurczyk and Cody Hanes (100-yard breaststroke), Holly Hammond (500-yard freestyle), and Katelyn Koontz (100-yard butterfly).<\/p>\n<p>The boys\u2019 team swept all three relays: 200-yard medley (Hanes, Trey Stemen, Kase Schalois, Cucciarre), 200-yard freestyle (Stemen, Hanes, AJ Foster, Easley), and 400-yard freestyle (Schalois, Adam Jurczyk, Daniel Silette, Easley).<\/p>\n<p>Relay winners for the Van Wert girls were the 200-yard medley (Hannah Stemen, Jurczyk, Dingle, Grooms) and the 400-yard freestyle (Jurczyk, Meredith Arn, Andi Foster, Grooms).<\/p>\n<p>The Cougar swimmers return to action next Tuesday when they travel to Defiance.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Girls Results (all distances in yards)<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 Medley Relay: 1<sup>st<\/sup> (2:20.35 \u2013Hannah Stemen, Brittany Jurczyk, Erin Dingle, Taylor Grooms), 3<sup>rd<\/sup> (2:30.44 \u2013 Holly Hammond, Karlyn Koontz, Briana Agler, Mackenzie Agler), 4<sup>th<\/sup> (4:32.15 \u2013 Marissa Sperry, Reed Wermer, Rebecca Johnson, Whitney Meyers)<\/li>\n<li>200 Freestyle:\u00a0 1<sup>st<\/sup> (2:16.84 \u2013 Taylor Grooms), 4<sup>th<\/sup> (2:40.11- Mackenzie Agler), 5<sup>th<\/sup> (2:52.83 \u2013 Marissa Sperry)<\/li>\n<li>200 Individual Medley: \u00a01<sup>st<\/sup> (2:41.58 &#8211;
