(MGN Online graphic)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Cookies are $3.50 a box and delivery for pre-orders begins February 23.\u00a0Girl Scout troops in Van Wert are also participating In \u201cGift of Caring\u201d, both the Appleseed Council-sponsored Gift of Caring that sends cookies purchased to Heroes in Action and Operation Thank You, as well as a local Gift of Caring that provides cookies to a local food pantry.<\/p>\n<p>Those who would like to purchase cookies for themselves or for Gift of Caring, can call Carla Smith-Shaffer at 419.749.4246.\u00a0Smith-Shaffer can take orders and match buyers up with a troop or Girl Scout in the area to make delivery easier.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three cheers for cookies!
