{"id":194084,"date":"2025-06-20T07:35:27","date_gmt":"2025-06-20T12:35:27","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=194084"},"modified":"2025-06-20T07:35:29","modified_gmt":"2025-06-20T12:35:29","slug":"van-wert-to-pick-up-storm-brush","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2025\/06\/20\/van-wert-to-pick-up-storm-brush\/","title":{"rendered":"Van Wert to pick up storm brush"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>VW independent staff<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Van Wert Safety-Service Director Jay Fleming has announced that the city will begin storm brush pickup on Monday, June 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe realize it will take more than a week to get it all so we will be making two passes around the city,\u201d Fleming said.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>City residents should have brush out by&nbsp;7 a.m. Monday.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Place the brush by the curb and do not place it near poles, trees, etc.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The city\u00a0will not\u00a0pick up limbs more than eight feet in length.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The city\u00a0will not\u00a0pick up brush that has been left behind by a professional tree trimmer or private contractor.
