{"id":195208,"date":"2025-07-25T20:55:33","date_gmt":"2025-07-26T01:55:33","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=195208"},"modified":"2025-07-25T20:55:34","modified_gmt":"2025-07-26T01:55:34","slug":"ohiohealth-anthem-still-negotiating","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2025\/07\/25\/ohiohealth-anthem-still-negotiating\/","title":{"rendered":"OhioHealth, Anthem still negotiating"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>VW independent staff<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>OhioHealth, which operates 16 hospitals in Ohio, including OhioHealth Van Wert Hospital has announced an extension with insurer Anthem while the two sides continue to negotiate a new agreement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cOhioHealth and Anthem have signed a contract extension that will our extend our existing contract to August 15,\u201d OhioHealth spokesperson Lindsey Gordon said via email on Friday. \u201cWe are continuing to provide care for our patients who are covered by Anthem and are optimistic we will have a new contract signed before the contract extension expires.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>She added the agreement the two sides are working on is long-term.
