Look no further, pickle ball is here!\u00a0 Don\u2019t know what pickle ball is?\u00a0 Pickle ball is a racquet sport that combines elements of badminton, tennis and table tennis.<\/p>\n<p><a rel=\"attachment wp-att-19567\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/?attachment_id=19567\"><span style=\"color: #888888\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-19567\" style=\"border: 1px solid black\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/01\/Pickleball-Association-logo-1-2012.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"113\" \/><\/span><\/a>The YMCA of Van Wert County is now offering free, open pickle ball sessions to teach individuals how to the play the game.\u00a0 All are welcome, members and potential members, at no cost.<\/p>\n<p>These free scheduled sessions will be held at the Y in Gym 4 on the following days: Friday, January 27; Thursday, February 2; and Friday, February 3, all at 10 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a fun, easy to pick up game that we are excited to be able to offer our community,\u201d stated YM Program Director Mitch Price. \u201cIt\u2019s a great workout and those of us who have been playing have really enjoyed the friendly competition.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Information about this and other programs available at the Van Wert YMCA can be found by calling 419.238.0443 or visiting the YM website at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.vwymca.org\">www.vwymca.org<\/a>.
