Van Wert girls won 94-73 and the boys won 88-73.<\/p>\n<p>Van Wert swimmers placing first in individual events included: Erin Dingle (100-yard butterfly and 100-yard backstroke), Taylor Grooms (200-yard individual medley and 100-yard freestyle), Eric Easley (50-yard freestyle and 500-yard freestyle), Matt Cucciarre (100-yard backstroke), Trey Stemen (100-yard butterfly), Hannah Stemen (50-yard freestyle), and Katelyn Koontz (100-yard breaststroke).<\/p>\n<p>Cougar winning relays were: \u00a0girls 200-yard medley (Brittany Jurczyk, Taylor Grooms, Karlyn Koontz, Briana Agler); boys \u00a0200-yard freestyle (Cody Hanes, Trey Stemen, Kase Schalois, AJ Foster); and boys 400-yard freestyle (Adam Jurczyk, Eric Easley, Matt Cucciarre, Trey Stemen).<\/p>\n<p>The Cougar swimmers return to action on Saturday when they travel back to Defiance for the Western Buckeye League championships.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Girls Results (<\/strong>all distances in yards)<strong><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>200 Medley Relay: \u00a01<sup>st<\/sup> (2:17.37 &#8211;
