Tyler St., between Main St. and Spencer St. is one of the streets on this year&#8217;s paving list. <em>Scott Truxell\/Van Wert independent<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>During Monday night\u2019s meeting of Van Wert City Council, Safety-Service Director Jay Fleming said a pre-construction meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, September 23, with officials from The Shelley Company, the winning bidder of the $1.1 million street paving contract. Crews should begin working after that, most likely in early October.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>More than a dozen city streets are on this year\u2019s Van Wert street repaving list:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>S. Chestnut St. \u2013 &nbsp;from Spencer St. to Main St.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N. Chestnut St. \u2013&nbsp;from Main to Trinity Friends Church<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>S. Tyler St. \u2013&nbsp;from Spencer St. to Main St.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Greenewald St. \u2013&nbsp;from Harrison St. to Wayne St.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maplewood Drive \u2013 from&nbsp;Ervin Rd. to Spencer<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>S. Vine St. \u2013&nbsp;from Spencer to Main<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>E. Crawford St. \u2013&nbsp;from Walnut St. to Wayne St.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Cherry St. \u2013&nbsp;from Greenewald St. to Gleason Ave.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Biltmore Ave. \u2013&nbsp;Woodland Ave. to the dead end<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Green St. \u2013&nbsp;from Biltmore to Gay St.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gay St. \u2013&nbsp;from Woodland Ave. to the dead end<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>N.
