He will be the fifth generation of the Dicke family to serve as a senior executive for the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Dicke will succeed John Tate, senior vice president, who has announced his retirement after more than 35 years with the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;\u201cWe\u2019re pleased that Alex will be joining the executive leadership team at Crown,\u201d said Jim Dicke III, president, Crown Equipment. \u201cHe will play an important role in working with the rest of our senior leaders to continue to grow our global business.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;Alex Dicke joins Crown from Abercrombie &amp; Fitch in Columbus. He is a graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Crown produces a broad range of\u00a0forklifts,\u00a0batteries and chargers, as well as\u00a0automation solutions\u00a0and\u00a0fleet management technologies, and\u00a0warehouse solutions products and design services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;The company\u2019s global headquarters is located in New Bremen, with regional headquarters in Australia, China, Germany, and Singapore.
