(photo submitted)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cRecycling for our future\u201d is what Metals Recycling Technology is dedicated to.\u00a0 The core of its business is purchasing all grades of scrap metal from the public, dealers and industrial customers.\u00a0 MRT buys scrap metal, including appliances, copper, aluminum, brass, cast iron, metal siding, and electric motors.<\/p>\n<p>Its three-tiered customer focus begins with the ability to buy metals from the retail public, provide superior pricing and a clean, safe environment for the community to sell obsolete material.\u00a0 The second tier is purchasing metals directly from metal dealers, such as salvage and demolition companies.\u00a0 MRT\u2019s third tier is to partner with industrial plants producing a waste stream of metals from the manufacturing process.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s as simple as, you bring us metal and we\u2019ll pay you cash,\u201d said Joe Pasion, vice president of operations for Metals Recycling Technology. \u201cFrom the farmer who wants to sell obsolete equipment to the soccer parent who has a bag of aluminum cans and an old washing machine in the garage, we want to partner with the Van Wert community to recycle metals.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs we continue to build relationships with industrial businesses, we are willing to invest in roll off boxes and on site handling equipment to provide service, and in turn provide a freight logical location maximizing scrap revenue for companies,\u201d Pasion added.<\/p>\n<p>Metals Recycling Technology\u2019s staff brings a combined 30 years of industry knowledge to Van Wert.\u00a0 MRT is located at 7680 U.S. 127, directly north of Towne Center, and is open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Call 419.232.2034 for additional information.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Van Wert independent\/contributor content A new Van Wert company, Metals Recycling Technology LLC, announces its grand opening celebration featuring special incentives now through Friday, February 10.
