{"id":204826,"date":"2026-04-13T21:42:00","date_gmt":"2026-04-14T02:42:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=204826"},"modified":"2026-04-13T21:42:05","modified_gmt":"2026-04-14T02:42:05","slug":"van-wert-sets-brush-pickup-schedule-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2026\/04\/13\/van-wert-sets-brush-pickup-schedule-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Van Wert sets brush pickup schedule"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Submitted information<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City of Van Wert has set its 2026 brush pickup schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Brush must be placed by the curb by 7 a.m. on the following Monday dates: <\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>May 11<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>July 13<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>September 14<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Place the brush by the curb and do not place it near poles, trees, etc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The city will not pick up limbs larger than four inches in diameter or more than 10 feet long.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The City will not pick up brush that has been left behind by a professional tree trimmer or private contractor. If a homeowner utilized a trimming service, they are responsible for disposing of the tree.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Brush placed in bags or boxes will not be picked up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The City will not be picking up leaves during brush pick up.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Do not place brush by trees, poles, manholes, catch basins, water meters, fire hydrants or parked vehicles, must be visible from street.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Submitted information The City of Van Wert has set its 2026 brush pickup schedule.
