4:10 a.m. \u2013 Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert County Common Pleas Court for aggravated trafficking in drugs, aggravated possession of drugs, possession of cocaine, and having weapons under disability. Joshua Derek Burnett, 48, of Ridge Township, is being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6:00 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of U.S. 30 in Washington Township for a motor vehicle crash involving a deer. No injuries were reported.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7:32 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a commercial alarm on Lincoln Highway in Ridge Township.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8:15 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of John Brown Road in Union Township to check the welfare of a subject in a vehicle along the road.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9:50 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a residence on West Main Street in the City of Van Wert to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

12:37 p.m. \u2013 Deputies recovered property that was located in the Village of Ohio City.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1:30 p.m. \u2013 Deputies spoke to a resident from Hogan Street in the Village of Willshire for a report of fraud and theft.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4:55 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of Allingham Street in the City of Van Wert to assist the Van Wert Police Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6:48 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of U.S. 127 in Liberty Township for a report of a semi-truck in the ditch.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
