I am excited about two big stage shows coming to the Niswonger PAC in the next couple weeks.\u00a0 The first is a big Irish show on Saturday, February 25.\u00a0 The Women of Ireland is a show coming to us direct from Dublin, Ireland.\u00a0 The five leading ladies in the show are certainly 100 percent Irish.\u00a0 Their voices are mixed with an Irish band staged on either side of the stage, backing up their beloved Irish music, song and dance.<\/p>\n
Many of you have seen Celtic Women on PBS TV or have seen their commercials for their DVD.\u00a0This show is going to be a live stage show creating much of the same atmosphere and thrills that you have seen on TV. If you like Irish and Celtic music and dance, then this will be a show not to miss at the NPAC.\u00a0The tickets are selling well, so don\u2019t delay or you might just miss out on this one.\u00a0Google them on your computer and you\u2019ll see what I mean!<\/p>\n
The other big show coming on March 3 is the last chance to see this tour of Broadway\u2019s Fiddler on the Roof<\/em>.\u00a0 After this season, the show is going to be scaled way back and much of the production will be gone.\u00a0 Our show, actually shows, because we are offering two performances on March 3: one at 2 p.m. and the other at 7 p.m., will be one of the last for the four semi-truck production.\u00a0That\u2019s as big a show as we have ever presented.\u00a0 Annie<\/em> was our other four-semi-truck show.<\/p>\n Of course, the story of Fiddler on the Roof<\/em> is as legendary as the music.\u00a0 It\u2019s a heart-warming musical that will be worth every penny you spend on it.\u00a0 A live pit orchestra and ultra professional staging will bring the story of this timeless Classic of American Theatre to life.<\/p>\n Call the box office or go on-line to reserve your seat.\u00a0 This one is good enough you should invite friends to attend and make a day or evening of it.\u00a0 If we had booked just one performance of Fiddler on the Roof, we would have been sold out weeks ago.\u00a0 With two shows, you can still get some excellent seats for either the matinee or the evening show, but I wouldn\u2019t wait too much longer.\u00a0 We are honored to be able to bring such a huge Broadway show like this to Van Wert.\u00a0 The next closest place to see this production would be Akron the day before or Indianapolis a few days later.<\/p>\n Don\u2019t forget that the free tickets for the U.S. Navy Band\u2019s Sea Chanters performance on March 7 will be distributed starting the 22nd of this month.\u00a0You may obtain tickets at The Times-Bulletin on Fox Road or at the NPAC box office.
