Jefferson St.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"125\" height=\"130\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/06\/Hoops-QR-code-6-2026.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-207447\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Open to&nbsp;boys and girls entering first through eighth grades, the tournament promises a fun-filled day of basketball, competition, and community spirit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tournament highlights include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Divisions for&nbsp;first-eighth grade boys and girls<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A maximum of&nbsp;10 teams per division<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Two play-in games&nbsp;to determine tournament seeding<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Single-elimination tournament<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Games played with a&nbsp;20-minute running clock or first team to 15 points<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Every registered participant receives a&nbsp;free tournament T-shirt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter size-full\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"550\" height=\"413\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/08\/3-on-3-hoops-tourney-winners-2025.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-195926\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">The Warriors won the 7th-8th grade division of last year&#8217;s 3-on-3 basketball tournament. <em>Photo submitted<\/em><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>Participants are encouraged to check in&nbsp;30 minutes before their scheduled game time. Tournament game times will be announced closer to the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;This tournament continues to grow each year and provides a great opportunity for young athletes to compete while bringing families downtown to enjoy everything Van Wert has to offer,&#8221; said&nbsp;Mitch Price, Executive Director of Main Street Van Wert. &#8220;We&#8217;re excited to once again partner with Van Wert Basketball to make this a memorable event.&#8221;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The cost is $80 per team.
