Main St. for an unwanted guest complaint at a business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-1-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with a female in the 1000 block of N. Mian St. who reported finding damage to her shed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-1-2026 \u2013 officers issued a warning to a resident in the 500 block of Canal St, for setting off fireworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-2-2026 \u2013 officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Cherry St. for a criminal damaging complaint. Officers spoke to a male at the residence that had eight tires flattened on his vehicles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-2-2026 \u2013 officers were sent to the 1000 block of N. Main St. for a loud music complaint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-2-2026 \u2013 officers responded to the 200 block of W. 5th St. to investigate a minor hit and run accident that occurred in the parking lot of a business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-2-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with a male who reported that his daughter\u2019s soon to be ex-husband had made a comment threatening to harm him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-3-2026 \u2013 officers were sent to the 500 block of Jackson St. for a report of a domestic disturbance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-3-2026 \u2013 officers were sent to the 900 block of Spencerville Rd. to investigate an alarm activation at a business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-3-2026 \u2013 officers issued multiple warnings for fireworks being set off within the city limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-4-2026 \u2013 officers were dispatched to the 800 block of N. Main St. for a domestic disturbance between a female and her adult son. Officers did not observe any signs of a physical altercation. Both parties agreed to separate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-4-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with a female in the 200 block of Elida Rd. who reported that an item she ordered was delivered to her neighbor. The neighbor claimed that she returned the package but there was no record of that. The incident remains under investigation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-4-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with a male in the 1000 block of N. Main St. who reported that his bicycle was stolen sometime overnight.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-4-2026 \u2013 an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing the driver commit a traffic offense. During the investigation of the traffic stop officers found probable cause to arrest the driver, David Betz, 49, of Delphos, for operating the vehicle while intoxicated. Betz was also issued a citation for no driver\u2019s license and stop sign violation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-4-2026 \u2013 officers issued multiple warnings to residents throughout the city for setting off fireworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-5-2026 \u2013 officers received a call from a witness stating that a male and female were in a physical altercation in the 200 block of W. 5th St. Officers located the vehicle that the couple were in and spoke with each. Both stated that nothing physical had occurred and needed nothing further from law enforcement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-5-2026 \u2013 a female reported receiving threatening text messages from another female.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-6-2026 \u2013 officers responded to the 600 block of N. Jefferson St. to speak with a female who reported that her father came to a residence which she is staying at. The female stated that her father had previously made statements to harm her and she did not want him at the residence. The female was advised of the criminal trespass procedure, but that the owner of the residence would have to file the paperwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-6-2026 \u2013 an employee at a business contacted the police department to report having an upset customer trying to enter the business after closing hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-6-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with a female in the 500 block of Moening St. who reported that someone used her personal information to open a credit card account.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-6-2026 \u2013 officers were sent to the 500 block of N. Main St. for a male having a mental health episode. Officers spoke with the male who was later transported to the hospital by his mother.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-7-2026 \u2013 officers responded to two separate businesses to investigate the activation of an alarms. One business was in the 1000 block of Elida Ave. and the second in the 200 block of E. 2nd St.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-7-2026 \u2013 officers were sent to the 1900 block of E. 5th St. to check the parking lot for a vehicle with a juvenile inside. The caller reported that his 12-year-old daughter had taken his truck from Mill Creek, Indiana, and drove to Ohio. Officers located the vehicle which was reported stolen and the juvenile that was reported as missing. Officers contacted LaPorte County Sheriff\u2019s Office in Indiana and advised them that the vehicle and juvenile were located. The father arrived a short time later and retrieved his truck and daughter. Any criminal charges involving the juvenile will be handled in Indiana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-8-2026 \u2013 an officer spoke with an employee of the railroad who reported multiple Emergency Notification System signs had been stolen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-8-2026 \u2013 officers were dispatched to the 700 block of S. Bredeick St. to look for a vehicle that had been reported stolen out of Darke County. Officers arrived and located the vehicle. After investigating the incident officers arrested a male in possession of the vehicle, Xavier Middendorf, 18, for receiving stolen property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-9-2026 \u2013 officers were sent to the 1200 block of Krieft St. to investigate an abandoned 911 call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-9-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with a female in the 500 block of E. 9th&nbsp;St. who is having an ongoing property line dispute with a neighbor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-10-2026 \u2013 officers were sent to the 1200 block of Spencerville Rd. to investigate a single vehicle accident on private property.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-10-2026 \u2013 officers responded to the 200 block of W. 5th&nbsp;St. for a juvenile female who appeared to be lost. The female was identified by officers and returned to her residence. Once at the residence the female made statements to harm herself or family members. She was then transported to the hospital for a mental evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-10-2026 \u2013 officers were notified of a hit and run crash that occurred at the intersection of S. Bredeick and W. Cleveland streets. The driver of a vehicle struck a pole before leaving the scene.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-11-2026 \u2013 officers were dispatched to Stadium Park to meet with a female. The female told officers that her juvenile daughter was assaulted by a juvenile male. The female provided officers with the address where the juvenile male resides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-11-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with a female at the Delphos Police Department who reported that her boyfriend was intoxicated and she didn\u2019t want him in the residence. Officers explained that they could not make him leave his residence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 7-11-2026 \u2013 an officer on patrol conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle after observing the driver commit a traffic offense.
