Online records from Paulding County Common Pleas Court show Chatman is currently charged with aggravated robbery, a first degree felony, and theft, a first degree misdemeanor. Cox is currently charged with complicity, a first degree felony, and theft, a first degree misdemeanor.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"alignright size-full\"><img decoding=\"async\" width=\"150\" height=\"126\" src=\"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/07\/Circle-K-suspects-7-2026.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-207962\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Robert Chatman and Kirsten Cox<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The two are accused of entering Circle K on N. Williams St. shortly before 1 a.m. Wednesday. They were wearing all black and masks and Williams allegedl brandished a pistol and demanded all the money. The two fled the store on foot with a small amount of cash but in a press release, the Paulding Police Department said it didn\u2019t take long to identify the duo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWith the use of residental, business cameras and the recently installed Flock cameras, officers were able to identify a vehicle used by the suspects,\u201d the press release stated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The evidence enabled arrest warrants to be issued and Chatman and Cox were arrested later the same day in Defiance. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Both remain in the Paulding County Jail, with bond set at $21,125 each.
