2:28 a.m. \u2013 Deputies, along with Van Wert EMS, responded to a residence on Lincoln Highway in Pleasant Township for a report of a deceased person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6:55 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of Ohio 81 in Willshire Township for an automated message of a medical emergency. No incident was located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8:43 a.m. \u2013 Dispatched Van Wert EMS to a residence on Lincoln Highway in Pleasant Township for a subject having difficulty breathing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

10:59 a.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a residence on Willshire Eastern Road in Willshire Township to assist a motorist locked out of their vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1:22 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a residence on Middle Point Road in Ridge Township for a report of a loose dog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2:15 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a residence on John Brown Road in Pleasant Township for a noise complaint.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4:22 p.m. \u2013 Deputies, along with Ohio City EMS, responded to a residence on Van Wert Willshire Road in Pleasant Township for a report of a deceased person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5:01 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a residence on Dixon Cavett Road in Tully Township to contact a resident for the Van Wert Police Department.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5:03 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a residence on East Tully Street in the Village of Convoy for a complaint of trespassing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5:24 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a residence on East Tully Street in the Village of Convoy for a report of a domestic dispute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6:14 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of the Van Wert Paulding County Line Road in Jackson Township to check an abandoned 911 call.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6:58 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of Glenmore Road in Liberty Township for an automated message of a possible crash. No accident was located.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7:20 p.m. \u2013 Deputies, along with Ohio City Fire and EMS, Van Wert Fire and Lutheran Air, responded to an area of Ohio 118 in Pleasant Township for a report of a motor vehicle crash. A 2017 Hyundai Elantra driven by Michael Sparrow of Holland, Ohio, was driving northbound in the southbound lane on Ohio 118 north of Hoghe Road.  A 2000 Freightliner motorhome driven by Adam Yoder of Kalamazoo, Michigan, was driving southbound and swerved into the northbound lane to avoid the collision. Sparrow\u2019s vehicle struck a trailer being pulled by Yoder, then went off the west side of the roadway and rolled onto the passenger side, coming to rest. Sparrow was transported by Lutheran Air and was issued a traffic citation for driving under suspension and for a marked-lane violation. No injuries were reported by the occupants Yoder\u2019s rig.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8:44 p.m. \u2013 Deputies served a warrant issued by Van Wert Municipal Court for failure to comply. Landon J. Clifton, 40, of Van Wert was being held at the Van Wert County Correctional Facility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9:05 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to a residence on Monmouth Road in Harrison Township for a complaint of harassment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

9:19 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of Pettit Street in the Village of Convoy for a complaint of subjects on two mopeds being reckless and not stopping at the stop sign.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

11:45 p.m. \u2013 Deputies responded to an area of U.S. 224 in Pleasant Township for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a deer.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
