Officers were able to identify the male, Anthony Doll, 53, of Delphos, from video surveillance. Doll was located and issued a summons to appear in Lima Municipal Court for theft charges. Several hours later officers were advised that Doll had just stole items from a business in the 100 block of E. 5th&nbsp;St. Officers stopped Doll and located the stolen items. Doll was taken into custody and transported to the Allen County Jail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-4-2026 \u2013 officers, along with Delphos Fire and Rescue, were dispatched to the 200 block of W. Clime St. for a juvenile who had attempted to harm herself. The juvenile was transported to the hospital for treatment and mental evaluation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-4-2026 \u2013 officers were dispatched to a business in the 1900 block of E. 5th&nbsp;St. for a disturbance between a customer and an employee. Officers arrived and advised the customer to leave the business and to contact the corporate office with any complaints.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-4-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with employees at a business in the 1800 block of E.&nbsp;5th&nbsp;St. who reported that a male had been staying on their property, and they wished for him to be criminally trespassed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-4-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with a female in the 700 block of N. Canal St. who reported that her juvenile son is being habitually unruly and requested that a report be completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-5-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with a male who reported that some of his checks were stolen and his signature forged by an ex-girlfriend who no longer lives with him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-6-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with a female who reported being scammed out of $1800. The female stated that she received an email from someone claiming to be her pastor. The person requested that she buy gift cards and email the card numbers to him.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-6-2026 \u2013 officers responded to the 1800 block of E. 5th&nbsp;St. to assist Delphos Fire and Rescue on a call of a vehicle fully engulfed in flames.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-6-2026 \u2013 officers were dispatched to the 400 block of E. 8th St. for a possible domestic disturbance. The male and female involved advised officers that they just had a verbal altercation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-7-2026 \u2013 officers responded to a business in the 800 block of Ambrose for an unwanted guest complaint. Upon arrival officers found that an ex-employee had been in the business causing a disturbance. The employee left prior to officers\u2019 arrival. The ex-employee was located and advised not to return to the business.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-7-2026 \u2013 officers spoke with a female who reported leaving her wallet behind at a business on E. 5th&nbsp;St. The female went back to retrieve the wallet, but it was gone and had not been turned in.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-8-2026 \u2013 officers responded to a business in the 1400 block of N. Main St, to investigate the activation of an alarm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-8-2026 \u2013 officers, along with Delphos EMS, were dispatched to the 900 block of Superior St. for a dog bite complaint. Officers found that a female had suffered a bite from her rescue dog which required medical attention. The female was transported to the hospital for treatment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>On 8-9-2026 \u2013 officers received a call of a suspicious person in the 600 block of E. 7th<sup> <\/sup>St. The caller stated that someone was in a nearby vehicle with a flashlight.
