The concert will be held in the Saltzgaber Music Hall of the Niswonger Performing Arts Center and begin at 7:30 p.m. The concert is free and open to the public.<\/p>\n<p>The concert will feature the Concert Band opening the show with three pieces, including \u201cDeclaration Overture\u201d, \u201cLyrical March\u201d and \u201cApparitions\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>The Symphony Band will finish the concert with their three pieces that include \u201cThe Lambs\u2019 March\u201d, \u201cSymphony No. 1, Movement 5 &#8212; Hobbits\u201d, and \u201cRhapsodic Celebration\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>This concert is presented in anticipation of the upcoming Ohio Music Educators Association district contest to be held March 16-17 in the Celina High School Gymnasium.<\/p>\n<p>For more information contact the Music Office at 419.238.3722 or visit the band website at\u00a0<tt><a href=\"http:\/\/www.vanwertbands.org\">www.vanwertbands.org<\/a><\/tt>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>This evening, the Van Wert High School Concert Band and Symphony Band will present a concert featuring music for an upcoming contest.
