(Photo submitted)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Here in Knight Country, students and faculty are gearing up for their own version of March Madness.\u00a0 \u201cThe year went well, considering the role we had young blood assume on this team.\u00a0 We gained a huge momentum in the last couple weeks,\u201d said senior Dallis Gibson about his final basketball season.\u00a0 Bringing another successful basketball season under wraps with tournament is not the only resemblance the Academy bears with the NCAA.\u00a0 As one season of sports comes to a close, another bountiful event season has made its debut.<\/p>\n<p>Spring fever has caught hold of this season\u2019s athletes and coaches alike, encouraging them to get out in the temperate weather and push for some quality conditioning.\u00a0 Head track &amp; field coach, Mr. James Lautzenheiser, embodied this year\u2019s focus: \u201cI think that our program\u2019s goal is to make sure we present conditioning as more of an appropriated technique than a boot camp.
