Daniel Thompson called the meeting to order and led the group in saying the 4-H pledge. Carolyn Kopak explained the importance of sleep to the club for Health and Safety, and that the average person should get 6-8 hours of sleep.<\/p>\n<p>Alexis Line then updated the club on service projects, which include volunteering at the nearby Wee Care Day Care, sewing pillows for the pediatric ward at Van Wert County Hospital, sewing towel bids for Wee Care Day Care, as well as making healthy treats for the Van Wert Police, Fire, and Sheriff\u2019s departments.<\/p>\n<p>Club members then took time to write \u201cthank you\u201d cards to some of the people who have donated to Van Wert County 4-H.
