The Van Wert High School Drama Department will host a character tea with the Beauty and the Beast<\/em> characters on Saturday, April 14, from 1-3 p.m. at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center. Children will receive finger desserts, iced tea and punch, and a goodie bag to take home.\u00a0 There will be coloring, crafts, and mingling with the characters from the show.<\/p>\n

Photos may be taken with the costumed cast and guests are encouraged to dress up.\u00a0 All characters are welcome. They need not be from Beauty and the Beast<\/em>, or even from Disney. Storm troopers and Jedi knights are welcome!<\/p>\n

The cost for the event is $6 for one child and an accompanying adult. Additional adults are $2. Tickets must be purchased in advance and are available on a first-come, first-served basis, due to limited seating.<\/p>\n
