CONVOY — Across the United States there are vital arts, music and sports programs that are being cut annually due to growing budgetary constraints and lack of funding.\u00a0 Today\u2019s youth are missing out on extremely valuable opportunities to expand their knowledge and diversity of interests, as well as the chance to have a little fun!\u00a0 StateWide Ford Lincoln wants to keep these opportunities available for our local students at Crestview High School.<\/p>\n

StateWide Ford Lincoln is bringing Ford Motor Company\u2019s Drive One 4 UR School <\/strong>program to the Convoy community in an effort to raise up to $6,000 for Crestview\u2019s Knight Pride Club. For everyone who takes the wheel and test-drives a new Ford vehicle at Crestview High School on Saturday, April 21, StateWide Ford Lincoln and Ford Motor Company will donate $20 to the Knight Pride Club of Crestview High School. The funds will be used to enhance their Athletic Facility.<\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>\u201cWe know funding for school programs is hard to come by and we want to do our part to help make sure these programs remain available,\u201d said Steve Munroe, general manager at StateWide Ford Lincoln.\u00a0 \u201cWe\u2019re excited to raise money for Crestview\u2019s Athletic programs.\u201d<\/p>\n

This will mark the sixth Drive One 4 UR School Event that StateWide has sponsored bringing the total raised for Van Wert, Lincolnview and Crestview High Schools to over $30,000.<\/p>\n

The event, which will be held from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., will feature many vehicles from Ford\u2019s impressive line-up.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhether you are looking to test out our larger vehicles, like the Explorer or F-150 or are more interested in a smaller sedan like the Fusion, Focus or Fiesta, we will be able to put you behind the wheel of your favorite Ford vehicle,\u201d said Munroe.<\/p>\n

Dealership staff and Knight Pride members will be on site to assist with all registration and the test drive process.<\/p>\n

Since the start of Ford\u2019s Drive One 4 UR School <\/strong>program in 2007, more than $9 million in donations have been generated for high schools nationwide.<\/p>\n

Participants must be 18 or older and have a valid driver\u2019s license. There is a limit of one test-drive per household. All test-drives will last approximately 10 minutes.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
